Concrete Countertop Conference a Success January 2008 Charlotte, NC — The second annual Concrete Countertop Industry Conference, conducted at the Charlotte Convention Center in October 2007, drew more than 400 people from the U.S., Canada and other nations, sponsors said. The three-day event featured an educational conference program that included a seminar by well-known designer and product consultant Fu-Tung Cheng, sponsors said. Social and networking activities were scheduled around product displays in a 40,000-sq.-ft. exhibit hall that showcased concrete countertop mixes, pigments, admixtures, forming systems, diamond grinding tools, sealers and related products. The third annual Concrete Countertop Industry Conference is scheduled for August 21–23, 2008 at the Sacramento Convention Center, in Sacramento, CA.
